Yoga:

Yoga is a powerful tool which helps the kids to gain concentration, knowledge, and empowerment.  It improves the overall health of the kids along with gaining mental as well as physical fitness, knowledge about balanced healthy food.

Yoga for kids includes all Basic asanas, Ashtanga yoga, Meditation, Breathing exercises, Sun salutation (Suryanamaskar) and Eye exercises.  Aasanas usually include Standing Asanas, Sitting and Sleeping Asanas.  Balance practice and range of motion of the joints to increase flexibility and strength, control obesity and allergies.
Classes will start with a free exercise to warm up, surya namaskara, standing yogas, sitting yogas, sleeping yogas, Pranayama, eye exercise, etc.

Duration - 1 hr.

Kids 5 years and above.

Adult separate Yoga classes.

Please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. 

Please refrain from wearing perfumes and/or scents, including lotions. 

Please be sure at the time of registration to advise us of any physical limitations, injuries, etc., which may otherwise impact your practice.

Yoga mats or thick mats through bringing your own is encouraged and recommended.

 

Kids Yoga classes :

Introducing our unique Kids yoga classes by Kidding Around Yoga with our, certified Yoga instructor specializing in Kids yoga,  Prenatal, Vinyasa, Yin yoga, Chair yoga, and Adaptive yoga and certified Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR), facilitator. 

These classes are a unique opportunity to give your child life skills that will provide a sense of balance, calm, and strength during their developing years.

Every Kidding Around Yoga class offers a complete, age-appropriate Yoga practice including breathing instruction, relaxation techniques, stretching and strengthening poses, all using fun-filled music, games, and imagination.

KAY’s secret is our playfulness, keeping your child motivated, excited, and moving. This is not your typical Yoga class. A KAY class gets children singing, dancing, skipping, marching, jogging, shaking, laughing, hopping, limbo-ing, and storytelling ALL while practicing Yoga to original KAY music.

 

RESTORE & ENERGIZE YOGA

A gentle flow yoga class where you will learn Vinyasa style yoga asana mix of standing, seated and supine/prone poses that focus on building strength, flexibility.

We will start with 25 min of warm-up poses (Vinyasa) followed by 25 min of deep tissue stretching (Yin) and end class with 10 min of restorative Pranayama and Meditation to calm our thoughts and emotions.

If you are experiencing neck, shoulder or Back pain, stiffness, and knee pain, work-related stress, anxiety, insomnia and feeling tired, this is the yoga class for you where you will learn alignment-based yoga poses, 
the correct way of Pranayama, Mudras, chanting, restorative relaxing practice all rolled into one.

* Long weekend no classes.

* Fee is due 1st of every month.

* Fee at any point of time NON REFUNDABLE / NON TRANSFERABLE during the session.

* if child joins other classes of KID INDIA will get 10% discount [of lesser value session].

* To discontinue the classes a 30 days notice is required.

KID INDIA reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather. You will get makeup session in case of cancellation.

 

 

About Yoga instructor:

Yoga instructors certified Adaptive yoga teacher specializing in Kids Yoga, Pre and postnatal yoga, Chair yoga and Yin yoga, a gifted intuitive healer and certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction instructor (MBSR).

She has experience in teaching Yoga & Mindfulness Meditation for more than 12 years and has trained as a Vinyasa teacher with her mentor from the Guru Krishnamacharya Lineage in India.

She has a special interest in sharing creative Yoga with Montessori schools, Pre-schools, Elementary Schools, Storytime Yoga for Parents and Child, Girl Scout groups, Yoga Birthday parties for Tweens and Teens, as well as Special Needs groups.
Kidding Around Yoga offers personal one on one attention in group yoga classes.

She provides the best guidance about improving body posture, using  safety cues, sharing deep insights on body anatomy and yoga philosophy, gives personal attention to her clients' yoga practice and teaches her clients how to strengthen the body, improve the quality  of breath (Pranayama) and calming techniques of Yoga for the restless mind (Dhyana/Meditation).

She conducts group yoga sessions for Adults above 18 yrs for those seeking relief from pain, recovering from surgery or illness and pre or postnatal yoga or clients with Disabilities (wheelchairs).
She encourages her clients to practice regular Yoga and follow a healthy lifestyle to creating positive causes and conditions that allow your body-breath-mind to heal.
